On enforcement, the commission voted to send a letter from town counsel to the owner of 112 South Main Street, who has visited town hall multiple times but filed no required paperwork; the chair noted that Massachusetts General Law allows daily fines of up to $10,000 and potential referral to Superior Court if the violation persists. In a Soil Board session immediately following, Cape Cod Aggregate received unanimous approval to expand its excavation footprint at 5.5 Bryant Street, conditioned on posting an increased bond, with no changes to truck traffic, hours, or annual tipping fee payments of $80,000 to $90,000.
