FREETOWN -- January 9, 2023, Freetown Conservation Commission cancels its January 9 meeting after failing to reach a quorum. The chair, identified only as Kevin, opened the session at 6:11 p.m. and immediately adjourned, with no votes taken and no business conducted. The sole agenda item, a public hearing for a project at 92 Hours Road, was already headed for a continuance after the applicant requested one before the meeting. The hearing was formally continued to January 23, 2023, at 6 p.m., which the chair and Planning and Land Use Administrator Victoria agreed would be conducted via Zoom to improve the odds of assembling a quorum.
