Freetown Select Board Enters Executive Session, Conducts No Open Business

FREETOWN — April 2, 2023 — Freetown Select Board held an all-executive-session meeting April 2, conducting no open business. The board, meeting remotely under the state's extended virtual-meeting law signed by Governor Maura Healey on March 29, 2023, voted unanimously to enter executive session under MGL Chapter 30A, Section 21(a)(4), which covers discussion of strategy regarding security personnel or devices. The chair announced at the outset that the board would not return to open session, leaving no public record of what was discussed or decided.
