Freetown Select Board Approves Online Permitting System for Board of Health

FREETOWN — June 5, 2023 — Freetown Select Board approves online permitting for Board of Health at $15,450 in year one. The board unanimously backed a contract with Full Circle Service Technologies on June 5, carrying a first-year implementation cost of roughly $14,000 plus a $4,600 annual fee — the cheapest option reviewed, and one members said would reduce foot traffic at Town Hall. The board also awarded the fiscal year 2024 winter sand contract to Cape Cod Aggregates at $18 per ton, beating out a competing bid of $21.80, and approved a full slate of road striping and sealing contracts to K5 Corporation and Allstate Construction. Two reserve fund transfers totaling $2,646.13 were approved, along with a renewed ambulance services agreement with Coastal Ambulance Services Inc. through June 30, 2024, and a Council on Aging grant spending plan of $14,876.35.
