FREETOWN — Water & Sewer Commission greenlights laptop purchase and pit study. Chair Robert S. Parker and members Paul G.

Sadeck and Steven M. Tripp unanimously approved a single source bid for laptops and equipment from the vendor serving Freetown Police and Fire, and also voted unanimously to fund a $25,000 APEX study on bleeder pit upgrades. The Commission ordered correction of a service line at 159/161 County Road installed below code depth in the 1990s; S Chandler will draft a letter to Highway Surveyor Chuck Macomber coordinating the fix with spring repaving of the site.
