FREETOWN — The Freetown Planning Board approved a manufacturing complex on Middleboro Road. The Board voted unanimously to grant Sep Sadeghi a special permit to remove an existing radio tower and construct a 21,500-square-foot manufacturing building and six contractor bays at the site owned by Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc., with noise limits set at 65 decibels daytime and 55 decibels nighttime. In related action, the Board approved a $58,500 peer review of Happy Trails Farm, LLC's proposed commercial composting operation off Chace Road, after neighbor Mark Rosofsky expressed concerns about truck traffic and water supply impacts; that hearing was continued to October 20, 2026.
