Freetown Library Trustees approve printing policy and extend Assonet hours. Chair Amy Sypher and the board voted unanimously to adopt a 20-copies-per-person-per-day printing policy at 10 cents per page to address high ink costs from patron overuse. The same vote-margin approved extending Friday hours at the Assonet location to 11am-5pm beginning April 3, at no additional payroll cost.

Library Director Nikole Kelleher also received unanimous authorization to close the library on May 1 for staff professional development related to Safe Space Program presentations. The trustees voted to submit a communication regarding the building committee's grant review process, which has not convened since December.
