Freetown recorded 20 property transfers between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, with sale prices ranging from $335,000 to $2 million and a median of $620,000 among the 13 sales with prices recorded so far. The month's largest transaction was a $2 million sale on Braley Road, followed by a $1.35 million sale on Middleboro Road. At least seven of the recorded transfers, including ones on Middleboro Road, County Road and Water Street's neighboring parcels, appear to be transfers within the same family, trust or estate rather than open-market sales, and most of those had no price yet recorded. The remaining seven of 20 total sales await a recorded price.
