FREETOWN — Finance Committee reaffirms French as Chair, Lees as Vice Chair. The committee, with five of seven members present, voted four to zero with one abstention to retain Margaret M. French as Chair and unanimously approved Kara Lees as Vice Chair.
Lisa A. Pacheco made a formal statement recommending that the committee adopt annual chair rotation similar to the Board of Selectmen's practice to maintain objective governance. The committee postponed action on town committee appointments until the next meeting to allow full membership participation.
