Conservation Commission approves Richmond Road land purchase

FREETOWN — Conservation Commission votes to purchase Richmond Road parcels and accept donation. The board unanimously approved motion by Craig Cabral to purchase the parcel at Map 207, Lot 111 and accept the donated parcel at Map 208, Lot 1, pending Board of Selectmen approval, with Open Space Consultant Mike McCue reviewing details. The board also approved a soil removal permit for 170 Middleboro Road, authorizing removal of approximately 61,000 yards of material over a year.
