Freetown Conservation Commission approves debris removal at collapsed building, divides on agent wage hike. Charles B. Sullivan's board voted unanimously to allow clearing at 103 South Main Street pending silt-sock placement, but divided three to one on granting the Conservation Agent a $2-per-hour raise, with Vice Chair Margaret M.
French opposing in favor of a smaller cost-of-living increase. The Commission also voted unanimously to request $30,000 for the Land Fund warrant article and authorized the Agent to communicate with the state Department of Environmental Protection regarding a Notice of Violation on Janice Marie Way. Two environmental applications—for 26 Keene Road and 231 Middleboro Road—were continued for additional review.
