Freetown Board of Assessors unanimously grants property tax abatement for East Freetown parcel. Chair Paul G. Sadeck and members Jeffrey D.

Field and Melissa Motta voted on March 23 to enter executive session to consider property abatement applications and litigation strategy regarding two pending cases. Following the closed session, the board announced one abatement: the property at 6 Tommy's Lane, East Freetown was granted abatement status with its assessed value reduced by $60,000, resulting in a tax reduction of $586.80.
