Freetown Board of Assessors approves property tax abatement in executive session meeting. Chair Paul G. Sadeck, Member Jeffrey D.
Field, and Member Melissa Motta met virtually on February 18 to approve the abatement application for 2 Zitano Way in East Freetown. The board reduced the property's assessed value by $9,000, adjusted its commercial percentage from 20 to 13 percent, and lowered the annual tax by $831.80. The board voted unanimously to adjourn.
